About LUKE
In the last analysis, what we are communicates far more eloquently than anything we say or do.

More About LUKE
What We Do and Why
Let Us Keep Engaged Foundation (LUKE Foundation) is a nonprofit organization that works at the local, state, and national level making a positive impact on youth and under-served populations through direct social, political, and community action programs.
We believe it's important to "engage" persons of all ages within the communities we live in order to improve the quality of life for everyone. We believe that the values and commitments of the future leaders of our society start at the grassroots level.
Our Core Mission
Established in 2001, LUKE provides community services through a number of projects and ongoing programs. We are constantly seeking ways we can help serve the community (see our "Projects and Programs" page for a complete listing), however our core mission centers upon the following ongoing service programs:
- We provide assistance to local families through the A Gift For You Program.
- We provide access to professional resources and guidance to under-served, middle school and high school students through the Look Up, Look Back Mentoring Program.
- We prepare young-adult students for success and leadership through internship placement with established business partners through the LUKE Leadership Intern Program.
- We incentive 811 year olds to read, comprehend, and effectively communicate through the
'5 Gets You 25' Summer Reading Program.
